Inspired by our own ideas and ideas from companies like Darpa or Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works, Theron Weapons are working on replacing conventional copper jacket gun powder filled weapons technology, with sonic and microwave technology weapons.
A new high-tech weapon system we are working on at Theron Weapons is the Theron GamaRay Scope Guns.
Here are some of the environments we are engineering and doing R&D on:
- Gamma rays are the most harmful external hazard. Beta particles can partially penetrate skin, causing “beta burns”. Alpha particles cannot penetrate intact skin. Gamma and x-rays can pass through a person damaging cells in their path.
- A gamma-ray, or gamma radiation, is a penetrating form of electromagnetic radiation arising from the radioactive decay of atomic nuclei. It consists of the shortest wavelength electromagnetic waves and so imparts the highest photon energy.
- The unit “Gray” is the absorption of one joule of radiation energy per kilogram of matter. To make this relatable, the human body can only withstand about 3 Grays (Gy) of radiation before dying.
- Without medical treatment, nearly everyone who receives more than this amount of radiation will die within 30 days. 100,000 roentgens/rad (1,000 Gy) causes almost immediate unconsciousness and death within an hour.
- GammaRay weapons can be deployed on earth (within our atmosphere) or in Space. Lethality in space is higher due to more radiation.
- Our Gamma-Ray weapons will both be handheld soldier-controlled guns, and when fired, will look like a flash went off. Due to the effect of the laser emitting a neutron blast, the intended victim(s) will be unconscious instantly. Dead shortly after. For mobile launchers that can destroy an entire brigade of soldiers in seconds, a wide optical array will be implemented with multiple focal lenses that can be swept across a battlefield.
